Simply select the day you would like your cakes and/or treats to arrive and we'll get them to you fresh and on time. We ship via FedEx Overnight Monday through Thursday. For FedEx 2 day air deliveries, we ship Monday through Wednesday. We do not ship ship over weekends; Saturday deliveries may be available, but are subject to a surcharge.
Mini cakes require a minimum of 48 hours notice before the ship date and 24 hours notice for snack treats. We are currently unable to ship same day.
Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. When possible, FedEx will correct addresses for a $15 surcharge. Please make sure that you have provided the correct, full address to avoid this surcharge. Be aware that we instruct FedEx that no signature is required. FedEx may leave cakes at the door if there is no one home. However, FedEx may choose, at its discretion, not to leave a package at the door if they feel it would be unsafe for any reason. FedEx instead will leave a tag indicating how to arrange pickup or another delivery.
Additionally, we are not responsible for delays of packages due to weather other circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to absence of the recipient.
PACKAGED WITH CARE
All of our mini cakes and treats are shipped nationwide via FedEx Overnight (for mini cakes) and FedEx 2 Day Air (for treats. We are not able to ship full sized cakes at this time. Mini cakes and treats are individually wrapped and packaged in an insulated cooler with ice gel packs so your treats can remain fresh upon arrival!
Our mini cakes are best served at room temperature, but can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen up to 2 weeks. Mini cakes should be taken out of the refrigerator 1 hour before you plan on serving to ensure the buttercream is perfectly fluffy!
Our snack treats available for shipping should be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days or up to 2 weeks in the freezer. If storing them in the freezer, please allow treats to come to room temperature before enjoying. All of our packages come with a menu card that includes care and storage instructions for each item.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURN POLICY
We allow cancellations up to 2 days notice before your scheduled pick up or delivery date. If you placed your order to arrive for next day pick up or delivery, we unfortunately cannot cancel your order due to the limited processing time.
Cake Monkey does not accept returns, offer exchanges, and/or grant refunds on any goods sold unless the issue for return, exchange and/or refund is the result of an error in our production, packaging or handling of goods. We are not responsible for delays caused by our shipping partners as a result of, but not limited to, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, terrorism safety control, inaccurate shipping information, or mistake on the part of our partner's employees. Therefore, we are not able to offer refunds for those reasons. However, if you believe your package was mishandled, please let us know and we will gladly file a claim with FedEx on your behalf.
