How far in advance do I need to order?
We need 48 hours notice for all cake orders or 24 hours for snack treats and pies. We need 72 hours for mini snack treat orders. For large event orders, we request at least one week’s notice.
Do you deliver locally in Los Angeles?
Yes! Delivery cost depends on the location and may cost more on weekends. Call for a delivery quote.
Do you ship your products?
Yes, we ship nationwide! We can ship most of our snack treats and mini cakes, but we cannot ship full size cakes. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Can I order online?

Where can I find products close to me?
We have two storefront locations, Mid City and Westlake Village and a pickup only location in North Hollywood. You can also find a variety of Cake Monkey products throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, & San Diego. Click here to see a list of businesses that carry Cake Monkey products.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase gift cards at any of our storefront locations as well as online by clicking here.
Do I have to place an order or can I just walk in and pick up?
Our North Hollywood location is not a storefront, so orders must be placed ahead of time (we only have a limited amount of items available for same day pickup).
Where are you located?
Our LA storefront is located at 7807 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles. Our nearest cross street is Fairfax, and we are directly across from the CBS studio (very close to the Grove).
Our Conejo Valley storefront is located at 2805 Agoura Rd in Westlake Village in the Westlake Commons shopping center.
Our North Hollywood production kitchen is located at 10844 Chandler Blvd (at corner of Satsuma Ave. off of Magnolia Blvd.) Our nearest cross streets are Vineland and Magnolia. We are in a residential area. Please keep in mind this is not a storefront and we only have a limited amount of items available for same day pick up. You may order any item from our menu in advance and pick up at this location.
Can I just walk into your North Hollywood location and buy something?
Our North Hollywood location is not a storefront, so orders need to be placed ahead of time. If you walk in, we have a limited number of items available (including our cakewiches) but we will not have our full menu available for same day purchase. Please ring the bell at the front door when you arrive.

Donation and Sponsorship Requests
Giving back is important to us at Cake Monkey. If you have a donation request, you may email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond to your request within one week of receiving it. We get many requests each day and while we wish with all our hearts that we could lend our support to every organization, please understand that we are not able to do so.
Cancellation and Return Policy
We allow cancellation up to 2 days notice before your scheduled pick up or ship date. If you place your order to for next day, we unfortunately cannot cancel your order.
Do I need to refigerate this? How long will it stay fresh?
Mini Cakes can be stored & eaten at room temperature. If you are planning on eating the next day, refigerate overnight and take the mini cake 1 hour before you plan on eating it so the buttercream is light and fluffy!
Bars, Moguls, Pop Pies, Roll in the Hay, and S’Mores can be stored & served at room temperature for one day. They can also be frozen in a sealed container for storage up to 2 weeks.
Do you have any sugar-free products? Gluten free? Vegan? Gluten free AND Vegan?
We have several gluten free treats and vegan treats. At this time, we do not make any products that are both gluten free & vegan, or sugar-free. Please note that we are not a gluten free facility.
Does this have nuts in it?
All items with nuts are indicated in the menu descriptions. Please note that we are not a nut-free facility. Please call (818) 508-9579 for additional allergy information.
Are you kosher?
We are not a kosher facility.
Do you sell mini items for parties and special events?
Yes, we sell mini versions of our popular snack treats. Mini orders need to be placed 72 hours in advance; for large event orders, we request at least one weeks notice. Click here to view the mini items we offer.
How big are the mini cakes and how many people do they serve?
Our mini cakes are 3 inches high and one serving each. One mini cake is approximately equivalent to a slice of cake.
What size cakes do you have and how many people do they serve?
How do I transport my cake?
Keep the box level at all times. Place the box on a flat surface in the care and be sure it cannot slide around. Most importantly, no driving like a maniac and slamming on the brakes! ;)
Do you make custom cakes? Tiered cakes? Wedding cakes?
Yes we do! Fill out our questionnaire with information about what you are looking for and what type of event you are having and we’ll get back to you!
Do you sell full sized cakes?
Yes, we offer all of our mini cake flavors in full sized versions in 6", 8", 9", 10" and 12".
Why do you need to know when I'm going to serve my cake?
Our cakes are best served at room temperature and our larger cakes can take up to 4 hours to come to room temperature. So, if you're picking up your cake at 5pm and planning on serving it at 6pm, our staff will make sure to take your cake out of the refrigerator prior to your pick up to ensure it is perfectly at room temperature when you serve it!
How do I store my cake if I'm not eating it right away?
All of our cakes are best served at room temperature. If you're not serving your cake until the next day, the cake should be refigerated and taken out a few hours before serving so the cake can come to room temperature and the buttercream can be light and fluffy! Our mini cakes take about 30 mins to 1 hour to come to room temperature while our larger cakes can take up to 4 hours.
Do you do wedding cakes?
Yes we do! Fill out our questionnaire on the Weddings page with information about what you are looking for and your event and we’ll get back to you!
How far in advance do I need to order my wedding cake?
We recommend ordering at least 2 months in advance but we are sometimes able to accommodate short notice weddings. Call our office at 818.508.9579 for more details.
Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes, we offer tastings for weddings and other special events only. Tastings are by appointment only at either location. Call to inquire: 818.508.9579.
Can you add fondant and/or additional decor to my cake?
We use buttercream frosting only (no fondant) and we are able to do custom designs. Just send us photos of the type of design you're interested in and we will let you know if we can do it! You can email email@example.com.
Do you offer gluten free wedding cakes?
Yes! You can order gluten free tiered cakes and your guests won't even be able to taste the difference!
Does Cake Monkey make party favors?
Yes! We make our most popular snack treats in mini sizes, making them the perfect thank you for your guests!
What if I need to cancel my wedding cake order, do you offer refunds?
We only require a 20% deposit upfront. If the cake is cancelled no later than 2 weeks before the wedding, we will issue a refund of the deposit.
How will I get my cake to the reception?
We offer delivery for a fee or you an pickup from one of our locations.
Will you set up the wedding cake and treats table?
Yes, we offer setup and delivery of the wedding cake and dessert table. We also offer platter rental. Platters must be returned within 3 days of the wedding in perfect condition or the replacement cost will be applied to your credit card.
How many people do your tiered cakes serve?
We have different size cakes available that will cover a wide range of servings. Let us know how many guests you are having and we'll recommend the right size.
